In some setups using Samba shares, RV seems to generate a significant amount of chatter which causes significant delays during fixing and can render RV essentially unusable on large collections. When using Wireshark, there is evidence that RV is also requesting directories and their ancestors that are not in scope. RV 3.7.1 WIP2 is the first build with this issue.
