If a directory has a period at the end, ie

Under Windows this becomes:

Game.\


Under Linux this becomes:

This is an interesting one. Filenames cannot end in a period on Windows, so RV cleans them for cross-OS compatibility and consistency. The DAT author should not be using filenames that are incompatible on Windows.
