When SAM is used from within RV, it appears it adjusts RV's max zstd workers setting without the user knowing. Example:
Open RV and check settings to ensure the max zstd workers is set to a large value relative to your cpu count, or Auto
Open SAM from RV
Move the slider to process many concurrent files, the max the slider will allow
Close SAM
Perform a fix with RV where it should recompress a large file to zstd, for example a PS2 ISO from tzip to zstd zip
Open your task manager and notice barely any CPU is used
